New Year

So I kind of forgot that I started this blog last year and only made 2 or 3 posts. Well I got rid of a couple of them seeing as I'll be going in a different direction with this blog from now on. I'll probably post some of the things I'm working on, and stuff for my Japanese class.

My weaving class has started off pretty fast, and we have a scarf due on Monday, as well as pattern ideas for our next project, which is kind of a belt sort of thing. I finished the scarf on Thursday, but still need to do my pattern designs. Seeing how my parents don't have a working printer, that will have to wait until Sunday night, when I get back to Milwaukee.

Screen printing is start with an easy project, nothing to complicated, just another 'learning the skill' project. So really all I can do is start thinking of what shape I want to do. Already started to think of what I might do for the registered print project. I might continue the work I was doing last semester, because I have the same teacher. But once again I dont think any one would get it. I have a few other directions I might go in, but none of them seem to be 'viewer' friendly. I dont know maybe I'm thinking too much of the viewer when I create pieces. I mean some of the things I've done in the past I thought people would of hated, but it turned out to make them speechless (in a good way). Well much more to think about there.

I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth as well as another molar, out yesterday. I'm feeling fine, no real swelling, and not too much pain yet. Other then watching the food network and see all this food that I can't have. I think I'm going to have a cup of jello and then work on some sock toppers for up and coming events.
